Solstice here by the Pacific ocean in Costa Rica is sacred. The parrots, kites, pelicans, flycatchers and hummingbirds, throng; the ocean is clear and full of manta, sea turtles and a myriad of coloured fish. The Pacific reaches so many shores, waters, peoples and beings.Doing ceremony by the waves’ edge at 10.19pm tomorrow night in this time of human polarisation, fragmentation and surfacing of historic wounds, feels necessary.
